3.2 Image Targets (Image Mode)

Image recognition is ideal for graphical elements like icons, inventory items, or buttons that do not contain readable text.

To add an image target, navigate to the Targets Tab > Image Target sub-tab.

Key Parameters:

  • Select Image:
    • Load a small .png or .bmp screenshot of the element you want to find.
    • Tip: Keep the image small (e.g., just the icon), not the whole window. This improves search speed.
  • Similarity Threshold:
    • Determines how closely the screen must match your reference image.
    • 0.9 – 1.0 (90-100%): Strict match. Requires the image to be pixel-perfect.
    • 0.7 – 0.8 (70-80%): Flexible match. Good if the game has dynamic lighting or slight transparency.
    • Default: Usually set around 0.8.
  • Click Offset:
    • Similar to Text Targets, you can tell the bot to click relative to the found image (e.g., find the “Inventory” icon, but click 50 pixels to the right).
